زمینه و هدف: سندرم پیش‌ازقاعدگی، شامل تغییرات فیزیکی و شناختی و خلقی است و از اختلالات بسیار شایعی است که باعث اختلال در عملکرد زنان می‌شود. هدف پژوهش حاضر، تعیین اثربخشی درمان تحلیل رفتار متقابل بر کاهش علائم پیش‌ازقاعدگی و بهبود ناگویی هیجانی بود.
روش‌بررسی: این پژوهش یک طرح شبه‌آزمایشی با پیش‌آزمون‌پس‌آزمون با گروه گواه بود. جامعۀ پژوهش حاضر، شامل تمام دانشجویان دختر ۲۰ تا ۲۵سالۀ دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد مبتلا به سندرم پیش‌ازقاعدگی بودند که به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس با توجه به معیار ورود و خروج انتخاب و در دو گروه آزمایش و گواه جایگزین شدند. ابزارهای پژوهش، شامل پرسش‌نامۀ ناگویی هیجانی تورنتو (بگبی، ۱۹۹۴) و پرسش‌نامۀ PSST (استینر و همکاران، ۲۰۰۳) به‌منظور تشخیص سندرم پیش‌ازقاعدگی بود. برای بررسی داده‌ها، از نرم‌افزار SPSS و برای مقایسۀ اثربخشی دو گروه، از آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیری (مانکووا) در سطح معناداری ۰٫۰۵ استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیری نشان داد که بین دو گروه تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد (۰٫۰۰۱<
p). میانگین ناگویی هیجانی در پیش‌آزمون ۱۲٫۰۴±۵۷٫۸۸ که در پس‌آزمون به ۳٫۳۸ ± ۴۶٫۹۴ کاهش یافت. همچنین سندرم پیش‌ازقاعدگی در پیش‌آزمون ۱٫۸۲ ± ۷۴٫۹۲که در پس‌آزمون به ۱٫۰۲ ± ۶۹٫۲۳ کاهش یافت.
نتیجه‌گیری: بر طبق نتایج این مطالعه، درمان تحلیل رفتار متقابل، در درمان سندرم پیش‌ازقاعدگی دختران ۲۰ تا ۲۵ساله و ناگویی هیجانی در آنان مؤثر است.
