Purpose: One of the factors influencing couples' incompatibility is the issue of marital infidelity, which is now regarded as a problem and a common phenomenon by marriage and family therapists. Marital betrayal is the most important issue that causes divorce and couples to go to family counseling clinics to pursue divorce. Also, about 40 percent of people who have divorced in the United States have reported that during their marital life, they have entered at least one connection outside the marital relationship and practice marital infidelity. With the help of a couple of therapeutic excitement, a kind of excitement Negative couples engage in betrayal. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of excitement therapy couple on psychological well-being of couples who were incompetent and involved in criminality. Method: This semi-experimental study was carried out in a pre-test and post-test design with control and experimental group. The statistical population of this research included couples who visited one of the counseling centers in District 2 of Nowshahr in 2012 due to treason problems. After enrollment of applicants, out of 77 couples, were screened and selected by introductory interviews of eligible couples who received more scores from Spenier's marital incompatibility questionnaire (1976). 30 eligible couples were randomly assigned to two groups of emotional-focused pair therapy (15 couples) and control group (15 couples). The short form of the questionnaire consists of 18 terms and is derived from the original form with 120 questions. This version consists of six factors that are: autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive affiliation with others, purposefulness in life, and self acceptance. According to the report of the Sheriff Koosheh and Barobi (2012), the questionnaire has been shown to be appropriate and reliable. Has enjoyed Sampling method was available. A brief psychological well-being questionnaire (1989) and spanery marital incompatibility (1976) were used to collect information. Data were analyzed by SPSS software and covariance analysis was used. findings: . The results of the study showed that the F value obtained for both variables was significant at the level of 0.01. Therefore, the hypothesis of zero and the hypothesis of the research based on the effectiveness of therapeutic therapies and emotional-therapeutic couple therapy in increasing psychological well-being and reducing maladaptive schemas was confirmed. Based on the results of Ben Ferrani's post hoc test, both emotional-therapeutic and therapeutic couple therapy have been effective in increasing psychological well-being and reducing maladaptive maladaptive couples and involving betrayal. In this regard, the efficacy of empowerment has been more than excitement therapy couple. Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that by using couple therapy, a kind of negative emotional exhaustion in couples involved in betrayal has been created and reduced the negative emotional excitement of couples and provided better spheres of welfare in couples. In other words, in an emotional-focused therapy coupled with the fact that the main focus has been to reduce the negative and annoying excitement of couples, there has been some form of emotional exhaustion with couples' reduction and expression programs. Comparison of test results in advance Test and post test, showed a significant effect on the improvement of the subjective well-being indices of the experimental group compared to the control group.
