زمینه و هدف: اختلال نقص ‌توجه/بیش‌فعالی از اختلالات بسیار شایع‌ روان‌پزشکی در کودکی است که در صورت دریافت‌نکردن درمان مناسب می‌تواند منجربه صدمات جبران‌ناپذیری شود. پژوهش حاضر با هدف مقایسهٔ اثربخشی شناخت‌درمانی مبتنی‌بر ذهن‌آگاهی و کاربرد نوروفیدبک بر کارکردهای اجرایی (حافظهٔ فعال و توانایی برنامه‌ریزی) در کودکان مبتلا به اختلال نقص توجه/بیش‌فعالی صورت گرفت.
روش‌بررسی: روش پژوهش از نوع نیمه‌‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون با گروه گواه بود. جامعهٔ این پژوهش کودکان ۹تا۱۲سالهٔ مراجعه‌‌کننده به کلینیک‌های روان‌شناسی شهر تبریز بودند. از بین کودکان واجد شرایط، ۴۵ کودک مبتلا به اختلال نقص‌ توجه/بیش‌فعالی انتخاب شده و به‌صورت تصادفی در سه گروه شناخت‌درمانی مبتنی‌بر ذهن‌آگاهی و نوروفیدبک و گواه قرار گرفتند. از تمام آزمودنی‌ها قبل و پس از اتمام درمان آزمون‌های حافظهٔ فعال وکسلر و برج لندن گرفته شد. سپس گروه‌های آزمایش تحت روش‌های درمانی قرار گرفتند. داده‌های گرد‌آوری‌شده با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخهٔ ۲۴ و به‌روش تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیره تجزیه‌وتحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که شناخت‌درمانی مبتنی‌بر ذهن‌‌آگاهی و نوروفیدبک بر حافظهٔ فعال و توانایی برنامه‌ریزی کودکان مبتلا به نقص ‌توجه/بیش‌فعالی مؤثر واقع می‌شود (۰٫۰۰۱>p). همچنین شناخت‌درمانی مبتنی‌بر ذهن‌‌آگاهی درمقایسه با نوروفیدبک، برحسب تفاوت میانگین پس‌آزمون‌ها تأثیر بیشتری بر حافظهٔ فعال و توانایی برنامه‌ریزی در پس‌آزمون داشت. 
نتیجه‌گیری: باتوجه به اثربخشی شناخت‌درمانی مبتنی‌بر ذهن‌آگاهی بر کارکردهای اجرایی کودکان مبتلا به نقص‌ توجه/بیش‌فعالی به درمانگران توصیه می‌شود در به‌کارگیری از این روش درمانی، در کنار سایر روش‌ها مبادرت ورزند.
