زمینه و هدف: اهمال‌کاری تحصیلی از مشکلات شایع‌تر در سطوح مختلف تحصیلی به‌عنوان مجموعهٔ مشکلات رفتاری است که عوامل متعددی در کاهش آن تأثیرگذار هستند. پژوهش حاضر با هدف ارزیابی بستهٔ آموزشی مبتنی‌بر راهبردهای خودتنظیمی و درگیری تحصیلی و خودناتوان‌سازی و اثربخشی آن بر اهمال‌کاری دانش‌آموزان دبیرستانی انجام شد.
روش‌بررسی: روش تحقیق این پژوهش طرح نیمه‌آزمایشی پیش‌آزمون-پس‌آزمون با گروه گواه بود. جامعهٔ آماری تمامی دانش‌آموزان پایه‌های دهم و یازدهم شهرستان سردشت در سال ۹۷-۱۳۹۶ بودند. شصت نفر از آنان در دو گروه سی‌نفری آزمایش و گواه با روش انتخاب هدف‌مند گزینش شده و سپس به‌صورت گمارش تصادفی به گروه‌ها اختصاص یافتند. بستهٔ طراحی‌شدهٔ آموزش مبتنی‌بر راهبردهای خودتنظیمی و درگیری تحصیلی و خودناتوان‌سازی بر گروه آزمایش در ده جلسهٔ ۹۰دقیقه‌ای اجرا شد که مورد ارزیابی قرار گیرد. جمع‌آوری داده‌های پژوهش ازطریق پرسشنامهٔ استاندارد اهمال‌کاری تحصیلی تاکمن (۱۹۹۱) از دانش‌آموزان در مرحلهٔ پیش و پس از آموزش صورت گرفت. برای تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل داده‌های آماری از شاخص‌های آمار توصیفی شامل میانگین و انحراف معیار و در قسمت آمار استنباطی از تحلیل واریانس یک‌طرفه، کوواریانس، ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تی دو گروه مستقل با نرم‌افزار SPSS در سطح اطمینان ۰٫۹۵ استفاده شد. 
یافته‌ها: داده‌های کمی ‌تفاوت معناداری را بین نتایج دو گروه آزمایش و گواه نشان داد. آموزش مبتنی‌بر راهبردهای خودتنظیمی و درگیری تحصیلی و خودناتوان‌سازی دارای تأثیر معناداری بر اهمال‌کاری دانش‌آموزان دبیرستانی بود (۰٫۰۰۱>p).
نتیجه‌گیری: براساس یافته‌های این پژوهش آموزش مبتنی‌بر راهبردهای خودتنظیمی و درگیری تحصیلی و خودناتوان‌سازی می‌تواند زمینهٔ کاهش اهمال‌کاری دانش‌آموزان را فراهم آورد.
