زمینه و هدف: بیماری هپاتیت، مشکل عمدهٔ بهداشتی در دنیا بوده و یکی از ده علت اصلی منجربه مرگ در انسان‌ها است. این بیماری از علل مهم سرطان و اختلال کبدی است و ناتوانی‌هایی را در افراد ایجاد می‌کند. هدف پژوهش حاضر تعیین نقش تحمل ابهام در رابطهٔ بین حمایت اجتماعی و پیروی از درمان بیماران هپاتیت شهر زنجان بود.
روش‌بررسی: روش این پژوهش از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعهٔ آماری پژوهش را تمامی بیماران مبتلا به هپاتیت مراجعه‌کننده به مرکز جامع سلامت شمارهٔ پنج شهر زنجان در نیمهٔ اول سال ۱۳۹۸ به تعداد ۹۹۹ نفر تشکیل دادند. از بین آن‌ها ۲۷۸ نفر به‌روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی طبقه‌ای انتخاب شدند. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌های لازم از پرسشنامه‌های تحمل ابهام (مک‌لین، ۱۹۹۳) و حمایت اجتماعی (شربورن و استوارت، ۱۹۹۱) و پیروی از درمان (موریسکی و همکاران، ۲۰۰۸) استفاده شد. همچنین تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل داده‌ها به‌کمک آزمون‌های آماری پیرسون و تحلیل مسیر با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای SPSS و Amos صورت گرفت. سطح معناداری برای همهٔ آزمون‌ها ۰٫۰۵ لحاظ شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد، بین حمایت اجتماعی با پیروی از درمان (۰٫۰۰۱>p و ۰٫۶۱۵=r) و بین حمایت اجتماعی با تحمل ابهام (۰٫۰۰۱>p و ۰٫۲۳۴=r) و نیز بین تحمل ابهام با پیروی از درمان همبستگی مستقیم و معناداری وجود دارد (۰٫۰۰۱>p و ۰٫۳۴۹=r). همچنین نتایج مشخص کرد که اثر کل حمایت اجتماعی بر تحمل ابهام معنادار است (۰٫۰۰۱>p و ۰٫۵۹۷=β). اثر مستقیم حمایت اجتماعی بر پیروی از درمان نیز معنادار بوده (۰٫۰۰۱>p و ۰٫۴۰۶=β) و اثر غیرمستقیم تحمل ابهام بر پیروی از درمان معنادار است (۰٫۰۵۱=p و ۰٫۱۵۹=β).
نتیجه‌گیری: به‌طورکلی نتیجهٔ این پژوهش نشان داد که حمایت اجتماعی با میانجیگری تحمل ابهام رابطهٔ معناداری با پیروی از درمان بیماران هپاتیت دارد.

نتیجه‌گیری: به‌طورکلی نتیجهٔ این پژوهش نشان داد که حمایت اجتماعی با میانجیگری تحمل ابهام رابطهٔ معناداری با پیروی از درمان بیماران هپاتیت دارد.
