Compulsions are repetitive mental behaviors or acts that a person feels compelled to perform in response to an obsession, according to rigid rules or to achieve a sense of perfection. Children may have difficulty identifying or describing obsessions, but most adults can recognize the presence of both obsessions and compulsions. Obsessive-compulsive disorder usually leads to multiple psychological problems that affect the person&amp;#39;s life.
