Abstract:   (2639 Views)
Background & Objective: Lack of attention to the life and happiness of adolescents, especially adolescent and adolescent teenagers, leads to mental disorders during their lifetime. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of teaching forgiveness on happiness and attitude towards the life of unprotected and inferior adolescents.
Methods: This is a semi–experimental pre–test, post–test with control group. The statistical population of the study included all malaria males in the second half of 2019, and 30 were selected through convenience sampling and were randomly assigned to two groups of experimental and control groups. In the pretest phase, the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (Hill and Argyll, 2002) and attitudes toward the life of Batista and Almond (1998) were applied to all subjects and then bonus training was done on the experimental group; after the forgiveness training, the same questionnaire was performed in both groups. Data were analyzed by SPSS software version 21 and single variable and multivariate analysis of covariance analysis. And a significant level of 0.01 was considered.
Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference between the two experimental and control groups (in happiness score and attitude toward life). Thus, the use of forgiveness training increased the amount of happiness. Also, the experimental group had a better attitude toward life than the control group (p<0.001).
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this research, forgiveness education can be used to promote happiness and attitude towards the lives of unprotected and inferior adolescents.
