Introduction: It should be noted that the nature of some of the athletic fields determines the type of sports injury in one part of the body. Although sporting volleyball is considered as a low level due to the separation of the players from the two teams by the tour, but at competitive levels, serious injury has been recorded in this sport. Volleyball development in the country, followed by increased interest in volleyball sports by young people and youth, as well as the importance of health and well-being in this age group, is a breakthrough in the development of pain and disability of elite volleyball players. Young is paid. Given the limited research conducted on the prevalence of sports injuries in volleyball, it is not worth mentioning in this study because of such injuries, the main reason for such injuries being the incidence of pain and disability Acute and chronic during the course of the competition. It should be noted that the purpose of identifying sports injuries is to provide players with relevant information about common injuries with serious consequences, and to provide basic measures to prevent them. In this regard, the present study examines the prevalence of pain and disability in the elite volleyball players of the country's youth.
Method: The present study was descriptive. The statistical population of the study included all young volleyball boys present in the top league of the country. 81 subjects were selected from the target population as a sample of research. To collect information about pain and disability, the Coronel Questionnaire and the researcher-made demographic questionnaire were used. Data was analyzed using SPSS software version 24 and Excel.
Results: The demographic data of the sample included mean age of 18.48 ± 0.77 years, weight 73.85 ± 9.55, height 185.51 ± 9.10 cm, player's history of play 6.55 ± 2.17 years Was. A total of 271 cases of pain and disability were registered in different organs, with the prevalence of pain and disability per capita of 3.39 reported. The most pain and disability related to lower extremities (38.38%), upper limb (35.42%) and trunk (18.08%) respectively. Also, according to the limb location, the most pain and disability were shoulders (17.34%), knees (16.24%) and waist (11.81%) respectively. Based on the professional posts of the volleyball players, the power receiver has had the highest levels of pain and disability in the various organs of the body. The most pain and disability was reported on the basis specialist posts in the players who receiver attacker and libero in the shoulders (respectively, with an average of 136 and 78), and in the opposite players, middle blocker and setter in knees (respectively, with an average of 132, 122 and 115). Also, the receiver attacker, the highest (with mean of 63.25) and "passer", reported the lowest (with mean of 31.75) pain and disability in various organs of the body.
Conclusion: Regarding the high level of pain and disability and the results of research in this age group, the main cause of future injury to volleyball players can be attributed to the high level of pain and disability during the competition practice. Also, the highest level of lower limb pain and disability has been reported, which causes the greatest damage to adult players based on previous studies in lower extremities. Considering the high percentage of pain and disability in the knee and ankle, which is one of the major disadvantages of athletes in the field of sports, it can be cited to withstand the pressure of frequent jumps during play and practice. The high percentage of pain and disability in the shoulder joint can be due to repeated movements of the hands and arms above the shoulder and head. In the same direction, you can point the movements of the paws, the ball by the paws, the types of service, and the types of spokes and defenses on the tour. The high incidence of pain and disability in the back can be due to flexion and extensions, and even frequent spinal hyperplasia at receiving, spike, forward posting, and dive. Considering that the age group of young people is very important for the continuation of professional sport and everyday life, and also in view of the results obtained in this research and earlier studies, it seems that considering the damage to volleyball and population Interested in this field, mentors of clubs, instructors and relevant authorities should address the damage and the factors that cause it, and it is best to focus on prevention factors.
