Abstract
Background & Objective: Due to the increase among the elderly, according to the issues of the elderly is one of the most important social policies and without the knowledge of the basic needs among the elderly and cannot be organized on a socio-psychological well-being in order to pay these people. Because of increasing life expectancy, the importance of improving the health and quality of life also increases day by day, given the challenges of the new century "Living with superior quality" is the increasing elderly population quantity. Quality of life should also be considered. So it seems review and increases the use of quality indicators, particularly in the elderly, day centers and cares about these people is essential. This study reviews the available literature on aging and quality of life of the four indicators achieved in increasing the quality of life and tries in this article introduces the features of the four indicators discussed. The indicators include community involvement, sports, leisure activities, reminiscence.
Methods: The most important factors affecting the physical and mental health of older people, social participation taking into consideration the rights of the elderly in maintaining social order and improve their quality of life can also be useful. Leisure activities: Leisure as a cultural phenomenon affecting social, economic, political and social issues are shared by all segments of society. Unfortunately, the elderly and pensioners in this regard have been forgotten.
Results: In many seniors, age, physical fitness is associated with loss of power and energy that all these factors are considered lowering the quality of life seniors can through coherent and effective programs to improve the ability of Prevents a reduction in their physical performance or reduces it to delay its onset or increase. In general, exercise and movement more effective methods in preventing aging disorders are and thereby delays the aging processes. Elderly people who exercise, enjoy greater health and vitality. Reminiscence: The goal of therapy is in the elderly provide support, reduce anxiety and increase socialization. A type of psychotherapy effective and almost no adverse effect on the company's reminiscence is an organized group.
Conclusion: The proposed day-care centers for the elderly as a place capable of maintaining elderly people's quality of life indicators, there are four factors to enhance the quality of life in terms of activities and land right in the center will introduce seniors.
