زمینه و هدف: ازجمله نشانه‌های شایع‌تر روان‌شناختی آشفته‌ساز در دوران بارداری اضطراب اس ت. هدف پژوهش حاضر تعیین نقش میانجیگر تحمل ابهام در رابطهٔ بین راهبردهای مقابله‌ای با اضطراب بارداری بود.
روش‌بررسی: روش پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعهٔ آماری پژوهش حاضر را زنان باردار شکم اول مراجعه‌کننده به مراکز درمانی سازمان تأمین اجتماعی در استان تهران در سه‌ماههٔ چهارم سال ۱۳۹۶ و سه‌ماههٔ اول سال ۱۳۹۷ تشکیل دادند. تعداد نمونه براساس فرمول کرامر ۳۸۴ نفر برآورد شد که به‌روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسش‌نامهٔ اضطراب مرتبط با بارداری (وندربرگ بارگ، ۱۹۸۹) و مقیاس تحمل ابهام (مک‌لین، ۲۰۰۹) و پرسش‌نامهٔ سبک‌های مقابله (فولکمن و لازاروس، ۱۹۸۰) بود. برای تحلیل داده‌ها از روش مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری و نرم‌افزار ایموس و بیشینهٔ برآورد احتمال و نیز سطح معناداری ۰٫۰۵ استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: در پژوهش حاضر ضریب مسیر کل بین مقابلهٔ هیجان‌مدارانه و اضطراب بارداری مثبت و معنادار (۰٫۰۰۱>p، ۰٫۳۱۱=β) بوده و ضریب مسیر کل بین مقابلهٔ مسئله‌مدارانه و اضطراب بارداری منفی و معنادار (۰٫۰۲۷=p، ۰٫۱۴۹-=β) به‌دست آمد. همچنین ضریب مسیر مستقیم بین تحمل ابهام و اضطراب بارداری منفی و معنادار (۰٫۰۰۱>p، ۰٫۲۶۱-=β) بوده و ضریب مسیر غیرمستقیم بین مقابلهٔ مسئله‌مدارانه و اضطراب بارداری منفی و معنادار (۰٫۰۰۱>p، ۰٫۰۸۹-=β) محاسبه شد.
نتیجه‌گیری: هر چقدر میزان استفادهٔ این زنان باردار از سبک مقابله‌ای مسئله‌مدار بیشتر شود به‌همان میزان ابهام و نگرانی از موقعیت‌های پیش‌بینی‌ناپذیر در آینده در آنان کاهش می‌یابد و درنهایت اضطراب کمتری را تجربه می‌کنند.
