زمینه و هدف: مشکلات رفتاری نوجوانان، محصول کیفیت نامناسب تعاملات خانواده، فقدان حمایت عاطفی پدر و مادر و تعارض بین والدین و فرزندان است. هدف از پژوهش حاضر مدل‌سازی مشکلات رفتاری نوجوانان براساس تعارض والد-فرزندی و مشکلات فرآیندهای خانواده با نقش میانجی‌گر دشواری تنظیم هیجانی در نوجوانان دختر بود.
روش‌بررسی: این پژوهش از لحاظ اجرا برطبق مدل‌سازی معادلات ساختاری بود. جامعهٔ آماری پژوهش را تمامی دانش‌آموزان دختر پایه‌های دهم و یازدهم دورهٔ متوسطهٔ دوم بخش مرکزی شهرستان خوی در سال تحصیلی ۹۹-۱۳۹۸ تشکیل دادند. حجم نمونۀ نهایی تحقیق به‌صورت نمونه‌گیری تصادفی خوشه‌ای، به تعداد ۳۶۷ بود. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها شامل مقیاس سیاههٔ رفتاری خودسنجی نوجوان (آخنباخ، ۱۹۹۱)، مقیاس تاکتیک‌های تعارض والد-فرزند (استراس، ۱۹۹۰)، مقیاس خودگزارشی فرایند خانواده (سامانی، ۱۳۸۷) و مقیاس دشواری‌های تنظیم هیجانی (گراتز و رومر، ۲۰۰۴) بود. داده‌ها با نرم‌افزارهای SPSS نسخهٔ ۲۳ و AMOS نسخهٔ ۲۲ و نیز روش همبستگی پیرسون و مدل‌سازی معادلات ساختاری در سطح خطای ۰٫۰۵ تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد، تعارض والد-فرزند (۰٫۰۰۲=p، ۰٫۲۶۱=β) و مشکلات فرایندهای خانواده (۰٫۰۰۵=p، ۰٫۴۲۹=β) با نقش میانجی‌گر دشواری‌های تنظیم هیجانی، مشکلات رفتاری را در نوجوانان تبیین می‌کنند؛ همچنین شاخص‌های نکویی برازش حاکی‌از برازش مناسب مدل بود (۲٫۹۷=χ2/df، ۰٫۹۰۰=NFI، ۰٫۹۰۰=GFI، ۰٫۹۲۶=CFI، ۰٫۰۷۳=RMSEA).
نتیجه‌گیری: براساس یافته‌های پژوهش، تعارضات والد-فرزندی و مشکلات فرایندهای خانواده با تأکید بر نقش میانجی دشواری‌های تنظیم هیجان قدرت تبیین مشکلات رفتاری نوجوانان را دارند و می‌توان با کاهش آن‌ها بستری برای بهبود مشکلات رفتاری نوجوانان فراهم کرد؛ همچنین هر سه متغیر مذکور زمینه را برای بروز مشکلات رفتاری نوجوانان فراهم می‌کنند.
