هدف: پژوهش حاضر رابطهٔ مهارتهای اجتماعی با مشکلات رفتاری را در دانشآموزان کمتوان ذهنی خفیف بررسی میکند.
روش‌بررسی: این پژوهش به روش توصیفی-تحلیلی از نوع مقطعی انجام شد. ۵۰ دانشآموز کمتوان ذهنی خفیف به روش نمونهگیری هدفمند انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش مقیاس رتبهبندی مهارتهای اجتماعی گرشام و الیوت (۱۹۹۰) فرم معلم و والد بود. این پرسشنامه در دو بخش مهارتهای اجتماعی و مشکلات رفتاری تدوین شده است و توسط معلم و والدین تکمیل میشود. برای تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل دادهها از روش همبستگی پیرسون و رگرسیون خطی گام‌به‌گام استفاده شد.
یافتهها: بین مهارتهای اجتماعی فرم والد و مشکلات رفتاری همبستگی معنادار وجود داشت. مشکلات رفتاری میتواند با ضریبی معادل ۰٫۲۰ مهارتهای اجتماعی را پیشبینی کند.
نتیجهگیری: این نتایج لزوم توجه به مشکلات رفتاری در برنامههای آموزشی مهارتهای اجتماعی را نشان میدهد.
