Abstract
Background and purpose:
Diabetes is one of the biggest health problems and one of the most important threats to health, which is called as a silent epidemic. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between the sense of coherence and mental endurance in parents of diabetic children with

the behavioral problems of diabetic children in Yazd city.
Research method: The method of this research was a descriptive correlation type. The statistical population of this research included all diabetic children covered by the diabetes center of Yazd city and their parents in the first half of 2018, and 75 people were studied as a statistical sample using random sampling method. Rutter's behavioral disorder questionnaire (1964), Peter Klug's mental endurance (1982) and Antonovsky's sense of coherence (1987) were used to collect information. In order to analyze the data, Pearson's correlation test and multivariate regression were used using Spss software version 24.
Results: The findings of the research indicated that there is a significant relationship between the sense of coherence and mental endurance of the parents of diabetic children and the children's behavioral problems (p<0.001). Also, the results of the regression coefficients also showed that parents' sense of coherence was a negative predictor of behavioral problems of diabetic children (p<0.01, β=-0.268) and the variable of mental endurance of parents was also a positive predictor of behavioral problems of diabetic children ( p<0.05, β=0.145).
Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, it is concluded that the sense of coherence and mental endurance of the parents of diabetic children is able to predict the behavioral problems of diabetic children.
