Different definitions of drug abuse are used in public health, medicine, and justice and criminal justice. Quality of life represents the well-being of individual life and life variables together. The term "quality of life" was not used until the twentieth century, and as time went by, researchers found that quality of life could be one of the most important outcomes in health assessments, as the definition of the World Health Organization emphasizes health. . According to the WHO definition of health, based on its broad dimensions in the form of complete physical, psychological and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease, it is necessary in the measurement of health and the assessment of health interventions in addition to the frequency and severity of the disease Pay attention to other human values such as quality of life. On the other hand, this variable is affected by various factors, including early maladaptive schemas and attachment styles. Attachment is a stable emotional bond between the child and the mother, which characterizes the search behavior and preserves the proximity of a particular person, especially during stress, and lasts throughout life. Attachment is generally referred to as emotional bondage between people, and in fact people have to each other to satisfy their emotional needs. As with the parent's relationship, the behavioral components of adult relationships include a set of activities designed to establish closeness to this form of dependency. The cognitive components of the adult relationship include information about the person's popularity and other comprehensiveness. These two factors together create schemas that determine the attachment style of a person. According to Le Hee's emotional schema model, based on the meta-cognitive model of emotions, people have different schemas about their excitement. These schemas reflect the ways in which people experience their emotions and believe that people are thinking of how to act when excitement is unpleasant. On the other hand, people in the family system are affected by emotional-cognitive factors. One of these factors is self-differentiation, which is referred to as the individual's ability to distinguish between rational and emotional currents in relation to family members and others. This concept reflects the extent to which an individual in his social circle can control emotional actions and related beliefs. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the The quality of life based on the schema model and attachment styles with the mediating role of self-differentiation among male students of Substance Abusers.
