The purpose of this research was to develop a causal model of academic enthusiasm based on school quality of life and perceived social support with a mediating role of academic motivation dimensions. The research method was descriptive correlation and structural equations model. The statistical population of the research was all high school students of Ivan city who were studying in the academic year of 2018-2019. 500 students were selected among this population by multi stage cluster sampling method. The questionnaires of Frederick et al’s academic enthusiasm, Anderson and Brooke’s quality of life at school, Zimet et al’s perceived social support and Harter’s academic motivation were used as assessment tools. SPSS and Amos soft wares were used to analyze data. Findings show the indirect and significant impact of quality of life at school and the perceived social support of students with the mediation of academic motivation on their academic enthusiasm. In addition, the results show that quality of life at school has a direct and significant impact on the academic enthusiasm of students. The findings of present research show that in general, quality of life at school and the perceived social support can be a good predictor of student’s academic enthusiasm through their academic motivation.
